- Contents and removal of items: The customer is responsible to remove all items from the area prior to installation.
- Moisture and Vapor Transmission: A moisture test is required prior to installation.
- Driveway, Scuffing, Walls: All precautions will be taken to prevent damage to walls and baseboard; however, due to the nature of the installation process some minor scuffing or minor damage may occur. Customer is responsible for touch-up and repairs. Dust may be present on certain surfaces after the installation. While dust is minimized the customer understands some dust may remain. Driveway some minor dirt and debris may remain.
- Door Trimming: The customer is responsible to have any exterior, interior or pocket doors trimmed, if any increase in height of floor from the finished coating.
- Wet Floors: The customer acknowledges that any surface when wet is slippery, the customer agrees to use caution on wet floors including resinous floor.
- Cancellation: A scheduled install requires 72-hour cancellation notice.
- This warranty does not apply to any damages to the coating by physical abuse, failure of the structure, vandalism, modifications to the substrate the coating is being applied, mechanical impact damage, exposure to heat of flame, exposure to solvents and acids, windstorms, lightning, screws, plant life, animal life, abuse of owners personal, or any other act of God.
- The warranty does not apply to damage due to gouging and other extensive damage beyond the scope and protections of the system applied, including impact and abrasion other than that which the system was designed.
- The warranty does not apply to damage caused by a hydrostatic water problem, moisture vapor permeating the concrete slab, or exposure to battery acid, brake fluid or brake cleaners. This warranty does not cover changes or oxidation of the coating as a result of normal weathering or atmosphere conditions.
- This warranty does not apply to delamination caused by improper substrate condition or an internal failure of the substrate. This warranty does not apply to damage caused by cracks in the substrate prior to or occurring after the installation of the floor coating system that appear from the ground shifting and expansion/contraction of the substrate, cracking due to substrate movement is not under warranty regardless whether the same was filled during the original installation or not. There is no warranty to cracks or filling. The warranty does not cover uneven contours or humps that become more visible after the coating is applied. Our coating system does not self-level, so any pre-existing surface variations will remain and may be highlighted by the coating.
- Products must be applied on a properly prepared surface in accordance with standard product specifications and applications procedures. Proper surface preparation is provided by grinding machines that remove all previous coatings, sealers, laitance, efflorescence, water repellants, curing compounds, oils, grease, fats, waxes, non-visible soluble salts and other impediments to adhesion. The resulting surface must have a profile of 16-50 grit, a neutral pH of 7 and not exceed 5.5% of moisture vapor transmission using Tramex CME 4 Moisture meter tests.
- This warranty becomes effective only after full payment to Home Run Coatings for all outstanding related charges to installation.
