- Contents and removal of items: The customer is responsible to remove all items from the area prior to installation.
- Moisture and Vapor Transmission: A moisture test is required prior to installation.
- Driveway, Scuffing, Walls: All precautions will be taken to prevent damage to walls and baseboard; however, due to the nature of the installation process some minor scuffing or minor damage may occur. Customer is responsible for touch-up and repairs. Dust may be present on certain surfaces after the installation. While dust is minimized the customer understands some dust may remain. Driveway some minor dirt and debris may remain.
- Door Trimming: The customer is responsible to have any exterior, interior or pocket doors trimmed, if any increase in height of floor from the finished coating.
- Wet Floors: The customer acknowledges that any surface when wet is slippery, the customer agrees to use caution on wet floors including resinous floor.
- Cancellation: A scheduled install requires 72-hour cancellation notice.
LIMITED WARRANTY (SOUTH CAROLINA)
1. Residential Limited Warranty
Home Run Coatings, LLC (“HRC”) warrants to the original residential property owner that
the coating system installed by HRC will be free from defects in workmanship and materials
under normal residential use for fifteen (15) years from the date of installation.
Covered defects include: delamination from properly prepared substrates, peeling,
chipping, blistering, and UV discoloration where applicable to the coating system installed.
Certain products may carry manufacturer UV stability warranties where applicable.
2. Commercial & Industrial Warranty
Commercial or industrial installations are warranted for five (5) years from the date of
installation and are limited to the same defects listed above and subject to all exclusions
herein.
3. Warranty Activation
This warranty becomes effective only after the project has been paid in full according to the
terms of the installation agreement.
4. Sole and Exclusive Remedy
HRC’s sole obligation and the customer’s exclusive remedy shall be limited to repair or
replacement of the affected coating materials at HRC’s discretion. HRC shall not be liable for
removal or replacement of concrete, loss of use, business interruption, or any incidental or
consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the original contract price.
5. Non‑Transferability
This warranty is non‑transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and original
installation location.
6. Concrete Substrate Conditions
HRC does not warrant the condition of the concrete substrate. This warranty does not cover
concrete cracking, movement, settling, moisture vapor transmission, hydrostatic pressure,
deterioration of the slab, or cracks repaired by HRC. These conditions originate from the
concrete substrate and are not caused by the coating system.
7. Additional Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper maintenance, misuse, impact
damage, abrasion, chemical exposure, tire staining, plasticizer migration, hot tire pickup,
plumbing leaks, improper drainage, acts of God, or repairs or alterations performed by
parties other than HRC.
8. Claims Procedure
Warranty claims must be reported to HRC within thirty (30) days of discovery. HRC must be
given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and repair any defect before any third‑party
repairs are performed. Unauthorized repairs void this warranty.
9. Builder / Contractor Installations
Installations performed for builders, developers, or general contractors are limited to the
warranty provided by that contractor to the end user and shall not exceed one (1) year
unless otherwise specified by written contract. HRC provides no direct warranty to
third‑party owners unless stated in writing.
10. Disclaimer and Modification
This warranty is provided in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including
warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent
permitted by South Carolina law. HRC reserves the right to modify warranty terms at any
time; the applicable warranty shall be the version in effect at the time of installation.
